The Best Coal Oven Pizza in Brooklyn!

We Are Legend

Patsy's Pizzeria, one of the oldest pizzerias in America, was first opened in NYC in 1933 by newlywed immigrants Pasquale “Patsy” and Carmella Lancieri. Patsy's Pizzeria quickly established itself as a legendary, southern-Italian, old-fashioned neighborhood eatery.
Almost immediately, Patsy Lancieri's pizza and atmosphere began attracting many famous personalities, including luminaries like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Tony Bennett, who became regulars. In addition, its uptown location made it convenient for the Yankees. Phil Rizzutto, Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio and Yogi Berra were all frequent customers.

Patsy’s was one of the first restaurants I discovered upon moving to Brooklyn last summer, and it remains a favorite. Despite its sizable menu full of pastas, calzones, and pizzas, I almost always get the same thing – the Margarita pizza. It’s made with Fresh Mozzarella & Marinara Sauce and Basil. It really is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had – and I eat a lot of pizza.

The pizza is delicious! The crust is thin and crispy, great sauce, and awesome cheese. And it makes a cute cheap date!
